Add notes to an order

Quickly jot down anything you need to remember about an order in your admin by using this handy little feature. For example, you can note a special request from the customer, that you sent a partial refund due to an expected shipping delay, or that you included extra confetti in a package - anything goes. It’s all for your own internal record-keeping, so you do you! 🎊

Steps

  1. Head to the Orders section of your admin.
  2. Click on an order you want to add a note to.
  3. Click Add private note.
  4. Type your note and click Done. It’ll appear in the order’s Activity section.

Sorry, right now this can only be done on Desktop and iOS.

  1. Launch the Big Cartel app.
  2. Tap Orders (little box icon) at the bottom.
  3. Tap an order you want to add a note to.
  4. Tap Add private note.
  5. Type your note and tap Done. It’ll appear in the order’s Activity section.
