Add notes to an order

Use this handy feature to quickly make note of anything you want to remember about an order.

For example, you maybe want to:

  • make note of a special request
  • that you sent a partial refund due to a shipping delay
  • or even that you included extra confetti in a package 🎊

Order notes are for your own record-keeping and won’t be seen by your customers.

Steps

  1. Head to the Orders section of your admin.
  2. Click on an order you want to add a note to.
  3. Click Add private note.
  4. Type your note and click Save. A record will appear in the order’s Activity area.

Sorry, right now this can only be done on Desktop and iOS.

  1. Open the Big Cartel app.
  2. Tap Orders (little box icon) at the bottom.
  3. Tap an order you want to add a note to.
  4. Tap Add private note.
  5. Type your note and tap Done. A record will appear in the order’s Activity section.
